I was wondering how many of you have this model fridge and are unhappy with the display?
When I use it, I have to use a flashlight to see the display. The manual says that the icons are backlit but are not. Instead, there is a led dot above the icon.
I find this very aggravating that Samsung could make a product like this and offer it to the public. Or.....
Did the builder get a break on these units because they were slow movers due to this bad design?
Samsung says nothing is wrong even though the manual is wrong.

Yes, it is noisy. yes the ice spills out so I know use a bowl under dispenser.
not sure what you mean about display. I can read mine just fine. If i get crushed ice it is because I have inadvertently touched the crushed ice button. I really do like the storage compartments. i bought clear acrylic bins for the freezer trays to hold items in place.
However, my dishwasher is dead ( house less than a year old). The digital leak detector is faulty, apparently a large problem for this modelDW80m2020us/aa00. Samsung giving us refund, will buy my own kitchen aid.
And...... How many ice makers don’t have a light? My Samsung dryer does not have one. I have never in my life had a dryer that didn’t have a light in the drum. I wish we could have chosen which units to buy but I know what I won’t be buying in the future!
Nothing but negative reviews on Amazon. We have a very similar model - no lights, sprays ice everywhere, and cubed ice often comes out crushed. On top of that, the icemaker is the loudest one I've ever heard!
